Our client has just been awarded £14 million in funding for a number of major projects planned across the next 2 years and as such are looking for a professional with experience of bioinformatics; analysing and manipulating high quality ‘omics data.
As Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, you will be responsible for managing a team of Bioinformaticians working directly with RNA sequencing, proteomics data and whole genome sequencing.
Key responsibilities – Senior Bioinformatics Scientist:
– Coordinate the refresh and continued development of the ‘omics pipeline
– Oversee the smooth running of the ‘omics pipeline
– Communicate with other internal and external stakeholders
– Staff management
