Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Director to join the team.
About The Company:
Our client is one of the UK’s leading Building Services providers, specialising in full, ‘turnkey’ HVAC as well as Mechanical and Engineering solutions to main contractors within the Construction industry.
They utilise the latest and most innovative technology to fulfil an array of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services across a variety of sectors including Hospitality, Leisure, Health, Retail, Education and Commercial Office.
Business Development Director – The Role:
You will act as the face of the business, representing the company at a senior level when dealing with Main Contractors and Sub Contractors as well as directly with blue chip, end users.
Business Development Director – Key Responsibilities:
Establish relationships with new clients, Main Contractors and End Users to secure new contracts
Use industry knowledge to understand a client’s needs and provide technical solutions and suggestions
Design and implement sales strategy which aligns with existing company growth plans
Identify and evaluate potential new opportunities and provide suitable recommendations to boost sales/ increase market share
Structure and manage the existing team of business development executives
Business Development Director – You:
A current and in depth working knowledge of the Building Services space and/or other relevant sectors within Construction
Knowledge and experience of frameworks
Strong relationships with Tier 1 and 2 contractors and consultants
Understanding of trends within the construction industry sectors
A qualification within a Construction related field is desirable
Strong networking, influencing and negotiation skills
