Finance Director - Electrical Distribution

With headquarters overseas, this major distributor of electrical products for the trade were looking for a Finance Director for their UK subsidiary.

The role required experience dealing with a multi site, high volume low margin operation dealing with technical products manufactured overseas.  It also required experience dealing with numerous third party suppliers.

A headhunting exercise within other similar businesses, as well as  distributors within other sectors, resulted in a strong shortlist of 8 candidates.

After undergoing full competency based interviewing and psychometric testing, this was whittled down to 5 candidates for The Client to interview from which an appointment was made.
